@Riedl @trochee oh wow, just found out it’s from a paper whose abstract says “ In this paper we introduce Galactica: a large language model that can store, combine and reason about scientific knowledge”

which makes it WAY more hilarious

@janellecshane @Riedl I'mma guess they were aiming for "Encyclopedia G—a", which is an Asimov reference IIRC

…but missed and hit "Battlestar G—a", which is about a human remnant fleeing robot apocalypse in a technologically-crippled space yacht
